Skin tags, cysts and troublesome moles used to be a quick appointment with your GP. We fill that gap, with every procedure carried out by a doctor in a CQC registered clinic, including laboratory analysis of anything removed.

Your appointment, start to finish

The consultation comes first, where Dr Patel examines the area, confirms what it is and talks you through your options. Some lesions are genuinely best left alone, and if that is the honest answer, that is the answer you will get. Most procedures take between twenty and forty minutes under local anaesthetic, so you will feel pressure and movement rather than pain. You are awake, you can chat to us throughout, and you walk out afterwards.

Aftercare that continues

Removed tissue is sent to an accredited laboratory, with results coming back to you and a clear explanation of what they mean. You go home the same day with written instructions and a point of contact. Where stitches are used, we arrange removal at the clinic, usually within seven to fourteen days. If anything concerns you in between, you ring us and speak to a clinician.

Cost

Minor operations start from around £500 per visit, which includes your procedure, laboratory analysis of anything removed, and follow up including stitch removal. Where more than one lesion can be dealt with in a single visit, we will say so, because it is usually better value. Consultations with Dr Patel are £25, paid when you book. NHS staff receive 20% off a first treatment and 10% off treatments thereafter.
